Photo of the Week

Saint Patrick’s Cemetery on Robeson Street in the North end of Fall River has many amazing and beautiful figural statues of madonnas and saints.  After a snowstorm and frigid arctic blast in February, this photograph of a pieta was taken.  A frozen tear clung to the madonna’s cold stone cheek as a crystal glaze of ice covered the face of Christ, and his crucified hands reaching out of the stone.
